Educational planning is the application of rational and systematic analysis to the process of educational development with the aim of making education more effective and efficient in responding to the needs and goals of its students and society. It is pertinent to say that the Zonal Education Office, Batticaloa have strived to protect the right to education of all the students by identifying each student individually and clinically. As a Deputy Director of Education-Planning, it is my prime duty to contribute to the development of education through analysis and findings of National Examination Results and effective and efficient management of Physical and Human Resources. In this regard, I wish all   the staff of Batticaloa Zone to success in their endeavors by providing necessary information to make long lasting changes in knowledge, skills and attitudes of future leaders.
